Dominant Arsenal Beats Fulham At Craven Cottage

Arsenal extended its lead at the top of the Premier League table after a dominant 3-0 victory against Fulham at Craven Cottage in London, going five (5) points ahead of rivals Manchester City as their hopes to win the title gains momentum.

Fulham started with Aleksander Mitrovic in attack, with Bobby Reid and Manor Solomon supporting on the wings. For the Gunners, Leandro Trossard was back in the frontline after recovering from injury, while Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli were on the flanks.

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes opened the scoring after heading a corner from Trossard into the net past former goalkeeper Bernd Leno in the 21st minute.

The visitors continued to press as they looked to assert their dominance in the encounter. Then five minutes later, Trossard assisted yet another Arsenal goal.

The Belgian international did brilliantly to lob a pass to Martinelli in the box, with the Brazilian forward leaping above his marker to head home Arsenal’s second of the day.

Then just before halftime, the Gunners put the game beyond doubt after a silky piece of play. Arsenal forward Trossard was involved in the goal once against, crossing perfectly to find captain Martin Odegaard in the box.

The Norwegian international brought the ball down with ease, going past two Fulham defenders before burying his strike into the back of the net.

Arsenal produced a silky attacking performance to beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage and re-establish a five-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners were also boosted with the return of talisman Gabriel Jesus after months out through injury.

The victory means Arsenal maintains a five (5) point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, with a fifth consecutive win in a row.

Arsenal will now face Sporting Lisbon in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday, then return to Premier League action with a home fixture against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Fulham will play Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday.
