Ebonyi State Governor Expresses Joy Over Unity Among Ezza people

The Governor of Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria, Mr Francis Nwifuru, has expressed joy over the Unity and Peace among the Ezza people in the State.

The Governor made the expression during the grand finale of the New Yam Festival of Ezza Ezekun (Oke-Aku) in Ezza South Local Government Area of the State.

Nwifuru who was represented during the Occasion by the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Mr Moses Odunwa said the Culture of the new yam festival of the Ezza people in the State has brought all their people from all over the world to come and celebrate this year’s festival.

Odunwa noted that every clan in the State shouldn’t play with their culture as it is the easiest way for oneness.

Also During the Event, the State Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Engr. Jude Okpor thanked God almighty who has kept all his people in good health and prosperity to witness this year’s new yam festival.

Okpor urged all Ezza people to continue to support the present Government under the leadership of Mr Francis Nwifuru so as to get more dividends from the Government.

The State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr Oguzor Ofianwali said the unity of Ezza people is not negotiable and such will continue to support the present Government.

Moreso, the Member representing Ezza North- Ishielu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Joseph Nwobashi urged all Ezza people to always remain united irrespective of political affiliation.

Consequently, the Member representing Ezza South State Constituency, Mr Friday Ogbuewu thanked all who came to celebrate with them.

The APC YOUTH leader, Ezza North Local Government Area, Mr Friday Nwakpa used the opportunity to urge all the Ezza people to come together to support Governor Nwifuru so that by the time it will be the turn of Ezza Nation to produce Governor of the State, it would be easier for them to get it.
