The State and Local Government officials of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ebonyi, have again supported the party’s factional Gubernatorial Candidate for the 2023 General Election.

This is pending when the law court finally decides who will be the flag bearer as they await the final Court ruling.

The State PDP Chairman, Mr. Tochukwu Okorie, who was represented by the party’s Organizing Secretary, Mr. James Alaka, disclosed this to journalists during the support rally in favour of Senator Obinna Ogba at his Campaign Office in Abakaliki, the State Capital.

Mr. Alaka said the entire party officials are solidly behind Ogba to become the next Governor of Ebonyi State.

“I assure you that Senator Ogba will not disappoint you if he becomes the governor of Ebonyi State in 2023.

“From his antecedents, we are strongly convinced that he will perform well,” Alaka added.

The PDP Chairman of Ezza South Local, Mr. Friday Agbom, who spoke on behalf of other Chairmen, said, “12 out of 13 PDP Chairmen for Local Government are here to support the Gubernatorial Candidate.

“Out of the 13 PDP Chairmen of various Local Government, it is only one not present; we thank God who made it possible the mammoth crowd we are seeing here.”

In appreciation, the factional PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr. Obinna Ogba, thanked the Ebonyi people for supporting him.

Ogba said, “you have made me proud, and I promise never to disappoint you.”

He encouraged them to be steadfast and shouldn’t allow anyone to deceive them.

” I have been in PDP since 1998, and I’m still in PDP till now, so my party will not disappoint me.

“Law court doesn’t belong to one person, it only belong to the average person and I believe that the same Court will at last who is the authentic flag bearer,” he said.

He promised he was going to make Ebonyi people happy again.
