The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Olakunle Nafiu has extended warm felicitations to Muslim Faithfuls of the NYSC family as they join other muslims across the country to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In his goodwill message, the Director General called on celebrants to reflect deeply on the true essence of the festival, which he described as a symbol of selflessness, compassion, and the willingness to make sacrifices for peace and societal development.
He urged Muslim corps members and staff to recommit themselves to the teachings of the Holy Prophet, particularly his unwavering faith, obedience, and dedication to serving God and humanity.
“As you celebrate, I encourage you to emulate the Prophet’s example by demonstrating greater commitment in your selfless service to the NYSC and your various host communities,” he stated.
The Director General concluded his message by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful celebration.
