The political leader of Toto LGA and Speaker of the State Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi, has given all the assurances of a hitch-free exercise, maintaining his stand that Toto LGA remains the home of the APC.

According to reports, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has mobilized support across the state for the re-election bid of Governor Abdullahi Sule and other party flag bearers.
Consequently, political gladiators in the local government area are justifying their reasons why Governor Abdullahi Sule is outstanding among the gubernatorial candidates ahead of the polls.
Political gladiators and major stakeholders of the Toto Local Government Area (LGA), led by the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi, have mobilized political instruments, strategizing and wooing grassroots support for the governor ahead of the flag-off of the campaign.

The APC Chairman, in the Local Government Area, Shuaibu Ahmed, said the developmental strides of the Governor in Toto Local Government Area will be reciprocated.
“With the electorates in the local government counting their harvests politically, Toto town will be thrown agog on Monday,” he said.
Member, representing Toto-Gadabuke state constituency, Hon. Labaran Shafa, said Governor Sule will cling to the governorship for a second term, given the array of contracts awarded in his constituency and other developmental strides across the state.
Already, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi, had on Sunday organized a series of meetings with stakeholders and other political groups ahead of the event.
He enumerated some of Governor Sule’s achievements to include provision of security; construction of the Toto/Umaisha road; rural electrification; the building of the modern market, schools, healthcare centres; and investments such as the presence of AZMA and Flour Mills, among others.
