Electorates Await Election Officials In Borno, Edo

Some electorates have gathered at their polling units in Borno State, Northern Nigeria,.

Voice of Nigeria gathered that, as at 7.50am local time, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC are not present at some polling units.

In Moiduganari Primary and Junior secondary school polling unit in Maiduguri, the state capital, there were election observers on ground but the INEC officials were yet to resume.
INEC has said that polls will resume at 8.30am local time.
In Osogbo, the Western Part of Nigeria, officials were seen at Unit 13 ward 4, Unit 39, Ward 4 preparing for accreditation to begin.
Meanwhi in Edo State Southern Nigeria,  Electorates are ready to cast their votes for the candidates of their choice.

There is restrictions of vehicles and shops are locks the whole atmosphere is peaceful and calm.

 

Security personnel are on standby at some polling units.

However, some electorates arrived there polling units early waiting for the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC officials.
