Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission says it is ready for a successful election, having distributed all its sensitive materials to all the 18 local governments in Ondo state and polling units for onward distribution.
This is according to the Head of the Department, Voters Education Publicity Gender and Civil Society Organisation, Ondo state, Southwest Nigeria, Mrs. Segun Olufunmike that INEC has deployed all the needed materials.
According to her, INEC is fully prepared having distributed everything from sensitive materials, ballots papers, and BVAS to 18 local government areas in 203 wards, with 3,933 polling units.
Mrs Osifeso appealed to Nigerians to go peacefully to the various polling units or booths to avoid anything that would create a crisis.
