Empowerment Programme: Beneficiary to train 5 Youths in Ebonyi

One of the Beneficiaries of Ebonyi state government’s N2 million empowerment program, Mr Nwogwu Chukwuma, who is a welder from umurzekoha in Ezza North Local Government Area of the State has urged the State Government to give him 5 persons to train and empower free of charge.

The State Commissioner for Skill Development and Job Creation, Mr Okwu Oko disclosed this to Journalists in Abakaliki the state capital.

He said the efforts of the Governor to create Jobs to all Ebonyi people especially those who are hawking in different cities in Nigeria is beginning to yield fruits.

“To that effect, Mr Nwogwu has officially written to his ministry so that he can commence the training immediately”.

Okwu thanked the Governor Francis Nwifuru for his Leadership mantra which focused on people’s Chatter of need.

It would be recalled that Governor Nwifuru on resumption of duties set aside three billion naira to be used in empowering the Youths in three tranches, thereby creating Jobs.
