FA Chairman Calls For Creation of Sports Ministry In Jigawa

The Chairman of Jigawa Football Association, Sabo Eka, has urged the state government to create a Ministry of Sports to boost sports development.

Eka made the call in an interview with Newsmen, stating that separating sports from the Ministry of Information, Youth, Sports, and Culture would help in the development of sports in the state.

The chairman said that football experts should be appointed in all football-related matters in the state,  as doctors were appointed to head the health sector, engineers in construction, and lawyers in legal matters.

Eka said that many states have created a ministry of Sports to boost sports activities.

He said that creating a sports  ministry in the state and appointing football experts would raise the standard of sports, especially for Jigawa Golden Stars FC.
