In a bid to catalyze transformative change within Nigeria’s healthcare sector, the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), has convened a dynamic Town Hall Meeting, showcasing a commitment to collaborative innovation and workforce empowerment.

In a press release by the Director of Information, Deworitshe Patricia, the Coordinating Minister, Professor Muhammed Ali Pate, said the event served as a catalyst for constructive dialogue and strategic planning among key stakeholders.

Addressing members of staff in Abuja, Nigeria, Professor Pate underscored the imperative of embracing proactive measures to propel the ministry forward.

He lauded the dedication and resilience of the ministry’s workforce, emphasizing their pivotal role in driving sustainable healthcare solutions.

“We have what it takes to enact meaningful change,” he declared.

The Minister of State for FMOH, Dr. Tunji Alausa, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the Ministry’s concerted efforts to foster robust partnerships and streamline service delivery.

Emphasizing President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering support, Dr. Alausa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to prioritizing healthcare reform and resource allocation.

“The Town Hall Meeting provided a platform for staff engagement and empowerment, with employees encouraged to voice concerns and propose actionable solutions,” he said.

Professor Pate reiterated the administration’s pledge to prioritize staff welfare and professional development, recognizing their indispensable role in driving sustainable change.

Amidst expressions of gratitude for staff dedication, the Permanent Secretary affirmed the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

“Efforts are underway to cultivate a conducive work environment conducive to innovation and synergy, ensuring that the Ministry remains at the forefront of healthcare innovation,” she said.
