Te foundation said, it was part of its contribution to the development of the health sector in the state.

“I have personally embarked on several visits to the hospital and noticed the needs of the hospital during one of our visits.

“Our decision to donate two wheelchairs to the Hospital is a testament of our commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of service delivery.

“Though it is little, we believe that it will serve in the most little capacity,” he said.

Abuluya said that the gesture was in line with Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring quality healthcare service delivery.

The NGO executive vice chairman said that the foundation would continue to contribute its quota positively to the development of the health sector.

According to him, “As representatives of the Nacabs and Abuluya Initiative Foundation, it is both an honour and a privilege to be here at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

“At the core of our foundation’s values lies a commitment to providing opportunities for the less privileged, particularly in the areas of education, empowerment of marginalised women, children, and youths, and the promotion of health and wellbeing in our environment.

“For the past five years, our foundation has dedicated itself to this mission, primarily through our flagship programmes of providing free education to deserving students who cannot afford quality and affordable education.

“Today, as we expand our efforts, we recognise the importance of addressing broader community needs.

“We understand that true impact comes from identifying areas where our support can make a tangible difference, no matter how small.”

Abuluya also commended the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Dr Ikrama Hassan, and the state government for their efforts in taking the hospital to greater height.

On his part, Mr David Abuluya, Chairman of the foundation assured management of the hospital of effective synergy for the development of the hospital.

Responding, Dr Ikrama Hassan, the CMD appreciated the foundation for the donation and called for its sustenance.

He also appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for prioritising the health sector in the state.
