Funke Akindele’s movie makes record breaking feat

Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele’s newly released movie, ‘A tribe called Judah’ has become the highest-grossing movie for 2023. This is with a record-breaking N400 million gross in cinemas nationwide in 12 days.

According to Film One Entertainment, the official distributor of the movie who made the announcement on Instagram, this record also makes it one of the top five highest-grossing Nigerian movies ever, putting it in the league of movies like The Wedding Party, Omo Ghetto: The Saga with Battle on Buka Street by Akindele taking the lead.
