Ganduje pledges to complete all development projects

Kano state Governor Dr.Umar Ganduje has expressed commitment to complete all development projects initiated by his administration before the end of his tenure come 2023.

The Governor stated this during an interactive session with Journalists at the Government House Kano, shortly after activities marking the 61 years indepedence of Nigeria.

He said by the plan and projections of the administration, all projects started will be completed.

“By the estimate and plan that we have, all projects initiated by our government will be completed”

‘We don’t intend to live behind any project embarked upon by my administration, things are going on as planned, and there are hopes that the contractors will delivered as scheduled.” he emphasised.

He said alongside his own initiated programmes, the administration has also completed alot of projects inherited from the previous regimes including that of his predessessor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Senator Ibrahim Shekarau.

He, however stated that there is no fund to complete the Five (5) Kilometers road project across the 44 local government areas of the state embarked on by his predessesor Senator Kwankwaso, whose liabilities amount to N6 billion

“I have no N6 billion naira to complete that project,” said Ganduje.

He promised to keep attracting good projects to the state to improve the well-being of the populace.

Only recently, the Ganduje administration commenced the construction of the N9 billion Naira President Mohammodu Buhari Interchange, a gate way to many local and international commutters, especially those from Chad, Cameroon and other west African countries that patronize Kano, the second biggest commercial city in Nigeria.

Inclusive is the ongoing N6 billion naira inter local government road projects across local government areas of the state.
