A Ghanaian coach based in Turkey has urged the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), to extend an invitation to Godswil Chinwendu, a talented young striker playing in the Albanian league with KS Besa.
Coach Julius Kugor believes Chinwendu has the potential to make a significant impact on the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles.
According to Pastor Ifeanyi Isaac, CEO of J.K. Football Academy in Abuja, Coach Kugor was impressed with Chinwendu’s performances, citing his goal-scoring ability, good footwork, and link-up play.
Isaac revealed that Kugor watched Chinwendu in action during a match against Skenderbu FC, where he played the full 90 minutes in a 1-0 win.

“He is a modern-day striker who is good on air. Coach Eric Chelle, who is building on young talent, should give him a call-up,” Isaac quoted Kugor as saying.
The J.K. Football Academy CEO believes Chinwendu is a talented player who deserves a chance to represent Nigeria.
Isaac emphasised that there are other leagues where Nigerian and other African players are doing well, and those who are hungry to represent their nation should be given a chance.
He urged the Nigeria Football Federation to contact Chinwendu and invite him to prove himself.
The call comes as Coach Eric Chelle continues to build a young and dynamic Super Eagles team. With Chinwendu’s impressive form, he could be a valuable addition to the squad. The NFF has been urged to act on the information and extend an invitation to the talented striker.
Chinwendu’s performances in the Albanian league have earned him recognition, and now he is being touted as a potential star for the Super Eagles. If called up, he will look to make a strong impression and secure a spot in the team.
The development has generated excitement among Nigerian football fans, who are eager to see Chinwendu in action for the national team. With his talent and determination, analysis believes he could be a key player in Nigeria’s future football success.
