Group to empower Youths in Anambra State

A group in Nigeria, the Mass Movement for Good Governance (MMGG) has promised to empower over 1,000 youths in Anambra state on the 29th of October, 2022.

The MMGG founder, Chukwuemeka Erobu made this pledge during an interactive session with newsmen in Nnewi

According to him, this is the squeal to a recently signed partnership agreement with HZS Biotechnology International, a Chinese firm based in Lagos Nigeria.

Erobu stated that the MMGG group has been in existence for the past three years, and is presently in 13 states of the federation comprising of South-South, South East and South West, with the mandate to ensure good governance at all stages of government across board, through the support of candidates with good track records over the years.

The founder said that the group also advocated for the eradication of poverty, the inclusion of youths in governance, giving meaning to the less privileged in the society and also help in eradicating unemployment in the county.

“This is one of the vision of the group to help the masses in the eradication of poverty and crime in the society. With the inauguration of committee members headed by MMG Anambra State Executive Coordinator Elder Chris Okwudili Obiora for the upcoming event, all is now set to kick start a massive empowerment scheme for the masses in Nigeria.

He stated further that the NGO “Gets its support from private individuals in the people of Chief Engr. Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, the CEO of Innoson brand, Chief Barr. Dominic Okafor, Ibo of Nibo, who is willing to support the group with scholarships for 7 persons to study abroad, and Dr Uzochukwu Romanus Umeh, who has also promised to support 5 of our members for scholarships too.”

According to Erobu, anyone can join the group once the person is a youth living in any of the Local Government Areas of Anambra State.

He said that the group is bent on making sure that unemployment is eradicated through massive empowerment in partnership with HZS Biotechnology International through health supplements. He believes that the partnership will train the youths to be self-reliant.

He called on the youths to embrace the initiative to ensure the total eradication of poverty in the country.

The Anambra State Executive Coordinator of the group, Elder Chris Obiora said that the initiative is to ensure the eradication of poverty in the country with the support of their partner HZS Biotechnology International

He said that the unveiling of the group’s Empowerment Programme on the 29th of October 2022 will make a great impact on their quest to ensure that the youths are properly engaged for a better society.

Obiora, therefore, tasked the youths to take the scheme seriously, as it will be an avenue to liberate them from poverty and dependence on the government for their needs.
