Guber Polls: Group calls for tighter security in Nasarawa

A group, the Concerned Nasarawa State Progressives Stakeholders has called on the police to tighten security during the March 18th governorship and state assembly elections.

The spokesperson of the group, Mr. Manga Ugbo made the call during a press briefing in Abuja Nigeria’s Capital.

We call on the Inspector General of Police and other security agencies to ensure more deployment of security men to Nasarawa state on election duty with a view to ensuring peaceful election in the state during and after the election” he said.

The group also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to conduct a free and fair election devoid of bias.
