The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC says it will continue to engage election Stakeholders for a more improved electoral process in Nigeria.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this at a review meeting with political parties on the conduct of the 2023 General Election in Nigeria.

‘’ Our intention is to focus on the elections by way of introspection, stocktaking, review and evaluation, Yakubu said. He remarked that the commission appreciated the role of the political parties during the election in voter education both during the off-cycle and elections general election.

He noted that at the end of the review process, a comprehensive report will be prepared that will serve as a basis for future engagement with stakeholders focusing on specific actions necessary for the improvement of future elections and electoral activities.
