Interior Minister Vows To Make Services Available To Nigerians

The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has pledged to make Ministry of Interior services available to the citizens across the country.

The Minister made the promise in Abuja while hosting His Royal Highness, HRH Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Ajabadi (I) Esuwoye (II), Olofa of Offa and HRH, Oba Sharafa Adeniyi Buhari, Onijagbo of Ijagbo, who paid a courtesy visit to the Minister in his office, Abuja.

Dr. Tunji-Ojo said all other services available in the Ministry of Interior and its Agencies will be made available to Nigerians for them to enjoy the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He assured the two Monarchs that, Offa in Kwara State is very key to the government in passport administration.

The Minister further stated that government is desirous of decentralising passport issuance for Nigerians to have sweet experience

Dr Olubunmi expressed appreciation to the people of Offa for demonstrating trust to government programmes, adding that “this shows that people can still have hope in government and that is the hall mark of the Renewed Hope Agenda, not just in words but in action.”

Earlier in his remarks HRH Oba Mufutau Mohammed Gbadamosi Ajabadi (I) Esuwoye (II), Olofa of Offa appreciated the Minister for his dedication to duty of his father land as a true democrat.

The Monarch requested for more facilities like the Fire Training Academy in Ijagbo, a passport production centre in Offa to reduce stress, give the communities a sense of belonging and to also enjoy the dividend of democracy.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is a commitment to unleashing Nigeria’s full economic potential, by focusing on job creation, access to capital for small and large businesses, inclusiveness, the rule of law, and the fight against hunger, poverty and corruption.
