The Chief Imam of Al-Habibiyya Islamic Society in Nigeria, Imam Fuad Adeyemi has urged leaders in the country to embrace justice and fairness as the foundations for peaceful coexistence and prosperity of every nation.

He made this known while delivering Friday’s Juma’at sermon in Abuja with APC Presidential candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu in attendance and several politicians.

The Imam who titled his sermon Hope for the hopeless’ drew the attention of leaders at all levels to ensure that whatever is due to the citizens should be given to them without any prejudice.

He urged Nigerians to elect credible leaders who can serve the people better adding that the country would maintain its rightful place in the committee of nations when good leaders are voted into power.

Imam Adeyemi, attributed the current security situation in the country to lack of social justice as the country is blessed with countless natural resources for development to thrive.

He reminded Nigerians of the need to remain hopeful in the face of security challenges in the country.

“Despite the challenges in the country Allah has given hope to whoever believes in him.

“Allah says his servants should not lose hope but be faithful and righteous.”

The Chief Imam who drew the attention of Nigerians to remember Allah in their daily affairs also challenged them to always be on the side of Allah.

The story will change when citizens ask for forgiveness.
