Judicial Infrastructure Projects: APC Lauds President Tinubu

Hauwa Gidado, Abuja

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for the commissioning of the new Court of Appeal Complex and residential quarters for judicial officers in Abuja.

In a statement issued by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party described the projects as a major step towards strengthening Nigeria’s judiciary and promoting efficient justice delivery.

The APC noted that the newly commissioned facilities include a modern Court of Appeal Complex and 20 residential units for Court of Appeal Justices and Federal High Court Judges, while another 20-unit housing project for FCT judges is set for commissioning.

The party also applauded the groundbreaking for residential quarters for judges of the National Industrial Court and the Code of Conduct Tribunal, expected to be completed in January 2027.

According to the APC, the projects demonstrate President Tinubu’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, upholding the rule of law, and improving the welfare and independence of judicial officers.

The ruling party further praised Wike for what it described as his effective leadership and timely execution of infrastructure projects aligned with the administration’s broader reform and development agenda.

The APC said the judicial infrastructure initiatives, unveiled as part of activities marking the third anniversary of the Tinubu administration, reaffirm the government’s commitment to effective justice delivery and democratic governance.
