Kwara pilgrims board promises hitch free 2022 Hajj

The Kwara State pilgrims board has assured the intending pilgrims of hitch free exercise.

Kwara State Amir Hajj, Dr. Awal Ibrahim Akeusola has assured the intending pilgrims of hitch free exercise.

He expressed satisfaction over the level of preparedness of the board and solicited maximum cooperation from every member of the board towards successful hajj operations.

The Amir Hajj, who was accompanied by Professor Usman Abdullateef and Dr Aliy Abdulwaheed Adebisi, was received by the Chairman of the board, Dr Abdulkadir Sambaki and the Executive Secretary, Barrister AbdulGaniy Ishola Ahmed.

The Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Dr AbdulKadir Sambaki expressed delight over the visit and briefed the new Amir hajj on the level of preparations  so far.

Dr Abdulkadir Sambaki told the new Amir Hajj that the board had secured additional 94 hajj slots, thereby making a total of 1,500 pilgrims from the state for this year hajj while the board also made good arrangements for better accommodations at both Makkah and Medina as well as that of the feeding for the pilgrims.

The Amirul Hajj and his entourage also visited NAHCON Zonal office and hajj camp premises in Ilorin where he inspected facilities and called for immediate renovation of some dilapidated facilities.
