Lagos Defeats Delta In National Sports Festival’s Football Event

Team Lagos have booked their place in the semi-finals of the football event after defeating Delta State 3-1 at the Uniben Sports complex in the ongoing 20th National Sports Festival in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria.

Team Delta opened the scoring in the 13th minute through Felix Odibo from the penalty spot.

Akinkunmi Hassan found the back of the net for team Lagos four minutes after the half-hour mark.

Then Godwin Odibo added the second in the 58th minute, before Isa Sahees sealed the result with 23 minutes left before the final whistle.
