The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mr. Onipede Saheed as Secretary of the Lagos Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
This comes after the deployment of the former occupant to another agency.
The letter of appointment signed on Wednesday February 8, 2023 by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, stated that due cognizance was taken of his track record before approval of his appointment.
The Head of Service stressed further that he is confident that the new Board Secretary would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the mandate of the Board and that he would justify the confidence reposed in him by Mr. Governor.
Mr. Onipede who hails from the Badagry division of Lagos State is an Assistant Director (Admin & HR) in the State Civil Service.
His appointment takes immediate effect
