NCC Tariff Increase: Airtel Reiterates Customer Service Dedication
In light of the Nigerian Communications Commission’s (NCC) approval of a 50 per cent tariff adjustment, Airtel Nigeria has reiterated its dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
In a statement issued on Friday in Lagos, CEO Mr Dinesh Balsingh confirmed the news.
He asserts that the business is still dedicated to maintaining its regulatory compliance record and will make every effort to meet and surpass the NCC’s instructions.
He said that steady expenditures in service delivery and infrastructure would accomplish this.
According to him, the change enables Airtel to increase its spending on network infrastructure by twofold in order to improve coverage, speed, and dependability.
Balsingh highlighted that Airtel is dedicated to guaranteeing adherence to the NCC’s regulations and takes service quality very seriously.
He pointed out that Airtel’s track record of steady investment in Nigeria’s telecom industry demonstrated its dedication to offering dependable services.
“The tariff adjustment will provide the financial backing needed to accelerate investments in network infrastructure, enabling Airtel to expand to more locations, upgrade existing sites and deliver better service to customers,” he said.
In accordance with the NCC’s order on fulfilling quality of service criteria, Balsingh noted, that Airtel was giving priority to improving the dependability, voice quality, and data speed of its network.
He pledged that affordability would not be sacrificed, stating that Airtel would continue to provide reasonably priced plans while upholding a high standard of customer care since it recognises that consumers demand value.
According to Balsingh, Airtel’s investments were made to ensure that all Nigerians will have access to top-notch telecommunications services in the future, not merely to suit their immediate requirements.
