The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 5 states of the federation.
Imo state is top on the list with 8 cases, Oyo-4, FCT-2, Osun-2, Kano-1.
According to NCDC, it says,
“Today’s report includes: 2 confirmed & 15 discharged cases reported for FCT for 5th March 2022.
“8 States with zero cases reported: Bauchi, Edo, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ogun, Ondo, Rivers and Sokoto.”
With the latest report, 254,657 cases have been confirmed, 249,199 people discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
