Led by coach Emeka Nnamani, the defending champions overcame Cameroon’s strong defense by utilizing quick breaks and wing plays to secure a 22-15 lead by halftime. Left-back Christian Bolaji played a key role, scoring crucial goals from distance and the wings. Despite an injury to Foloki in the last minute, he was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the match.
