Nigeria customs intercepts smuggled items in Kaduna

The Comptroller Custom, Federal Operations Unit, Zone B, Kaduna, Albasir Hamisu psc(+) says the unit through its Officers and credible information from patriotic members of the public were able to seize 144 smuggled items worth over 251 million naira from various locations of Zone B between February and March 2022.

 

He made the disclosure at a press briefing in Kaduna.

The Comptroller appreciated the media and members of the public within Zone B for co-operating with Nigeria Customs Service and called on smugglers to desist from smuggling and embrace legitimate trade for the growth of the Economy.
