Deeply humbled by honour done to me by @NigeriaGov in naming the Idu Railway complex & stations #Abuja. This honors all women of #Nigeria, inspiring young girls who travel through these doors, look up to the sign & see what a woman can achieve. @MBuhari @ChibuikeAmaechi #Bello https://t.co/kVyCqkrREa

Amina Mohammed was Nigeria’s former Minister of Environment before her appointment at the UN.
She is now the first Nigerian woman to have a railway station named after her.
It would be recalled that last year, President Muhammadu Buhari had named some stations along the Lagos-Ibadan and the Itakpe-Ajaokuta-Warri corridors after some prominent Nigerians.
