Nigeria records 52 new cases of COVID-19

Nigeria has recorded 52 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 7 states of the federation.

Rivers state records the highest with 20 cases, Lagos-15, Plateau-8, Jigawa-6, Delta-1, Gombe-1, Kaduna-1.

According to NCDC, it says,

“Today’s report includes: Backlog of 15 confirmed cases reported for Lagos state is for November 17th (6) and 19th (9) 2021. 

“0 cases reported from Edo and Sokoto States.”

With the latest report, 213,677 cases have been confirmed, 206,797 people discharged and 2,974 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
