The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on corps members and staff of the scheme to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, renewal, hope, and love as Christians across the world celebrate Easter.
In an Easter message made available through the NYSC Directorate of Information and Public Relations, headed by Caroline Embu, the Director-General described the season as a profound reminder of values that align closely with the ideals of the scheme.
He urged members of the NYSC family to reflect these enduring virtues in their daily conduct and interactions, while remaining committed to the core principles of national unity, selfless service, and mutual respect.

According to him, Nigerians must continue to draw strength from the country’s diversity and work collectively towards building a more peaceful, united, and prosperous nation.
The Director-General further expressed hope that the spirit of Easter would renew the strength of corps members and staff, deepen their sense of service, and fill their hearts with hope and fulfilment.
He reaffirmed the scheme’s commitment to national development with the words, “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve.”
He also extended warm Easter greetings to corps members and staff across the country.
