Osun Decides: PDP Presidential Candidate congratulates Senator Adeleke

PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Osun State.

Atiku’s congratulatory message was contained in a series of tweets via his official Twitter handle on Sunday morning after Independent  National Electoral Commission declared Adeleke as the winner.

It would be recalled that Senator Adeleke polled 403,371 votes to defeat the incumbent Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of APC who polled 375, 027.

The Presidential Candidate said “light has come to Osun. Congratulations Senator Ademola Adeleke on a well fought victory.”

He also used the opportunity to congratulate the Peoples Democratic Party’s family and stakeholders “who came together to make this possible.”

Atiku congratulated  the people of Osun State “for proving that power indeed belongs to the people.”
