He said the introduction of technology into the Nigerian Electoral system was timely and a game changer in curbing electoral fraud and other malpractices.
Governor Adeleke also commended President Buhari for signing the Electoral bill into law, thereby leaving a legacy of credibility behind in Nigeria’s democratic journey.

He said: “The atmosphere of the election is beautiful. I can see the sign of victory already. The state is peaceful because the governor is doing very well. So far so good, the process is going well and I believe it will end well.

“The BVAS is here to stay. It was very fast. It is the answer. The INEC has done very well, and the president has also done well for assenting to the electoral act. It is a way to tell us that democracy is here to stay in Nigeria, he added.
Senator Adeleke further urged the electorate across Nigeria to remain peaceful and orderly throughout the duration of the election.
“I advise the electorate to be law abiding. Election is not a do or die affair. Let the people decide who they want. So everything should be peaceful because I believe in due process and the rule of law, so everybody should be law abiding and vote for the candidate of his/her choice”, he urged.
Voting continues across the state untill 2:30 pm on Saturday.
