Philanthropist Donates Borehole To NYSC In Kwara State

A renowned philanthropist and founder of Al-hikma University, Ilorin,  Kwara State North Central Nigeria,  Alhaji AbdulRaheem Oladimeji has donated a borehole to the NYSC Orientation Camp, in Yikpata, Edu Local Government Area of the State.

The project according to the donor is the first of its kind to be located at the heart of the staff quarters on camp and it’s expected to serve the camp officials.

The state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Franciscia Olaleye in her remarks on the borehole project, disclosed that it was part of the Public-Private Partnership initiative embarked upon by the Corps to attract developmental Projects to the NYSC Orientation Camp.

According to her, before this time, the residents of the Staff Quarters depend solely on the NYSC water tanker in the supply of water.

She stated that the initiative, therefore, will put a permanent smile on the faces of camp officials and ease their comfort in camp.

The Management, Staff, and corps members, therefore, registered their gratitude to Alhaji  AbdulRaheem Oladimeji for extending such a kind gesture to the NYSC Kwara Orientation Camp.
