The People of Nwofe Agbaja in Izzi Local Government Area, Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria have given Civic reception and endorsed the Gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressives Congress APC, Chief Francis Nwifuru to become the Governor of the State by 2023.
The Chairman of Izzi Local Government Area, Barrister Steven Nwankpa said the Civic reception and the endorsement are to ensure that Nwifuru wins in the 2023 general election and to show him that the people of the Agbaja community support him.
“The people of Izzi are in full support of Francis Nwifuru to become Ebonyi Governor. It is good we honour him because he has empowered millions of people in the community in particular”, he said.
He added that Izzi is ready to vote for him as the sole candidate of APC.
On his part, the Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr. Francis Nwifuru was overwhelmed by happiness and appreciated the civic reception organised by the people of the Community in his honour.
The APC Candidates for Senate Ebonyi North Zone, Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi, House of Representatives for Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, Chief Emmanuel Uguru, and also the State Commissioner for Solid Mineral, Chief Chris Uchaji among others were all there to show solidarity.
