President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended renowned oil magnate, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Emeka Offor for his commitment to healthcare development and for his foundation’s medical book distribution initiative.

In a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, ”The President noted that the intervention would significantly enhance healthcare education and strengthen academic capacity across medical institutions.”

President Tinubu also expressed appreciation to the Chief Executive of the Chrome Group for his sustained commitment to initiatives that advance education, healthcare development, and the growth of human capital in Nigeria.

He urged Sir Offor “not to relent in his philanthropy and the sponsorship of good causes.”

The Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, in response to a special request from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, facilitated the procurement and shipment of ten 40-foot containers of current medical and nursing books and journals from the United States into Nigeria.

The foundation plans to distribute these resources to tertiary medical institutions across all six geopolitical zones of the country.
