President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated three Nigerian students — Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli for emerging world champions in English communication and debate at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London, United Kingdom.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the students’ remarkable performance, describing their victory as proof that Nigeria’s future is secure in the hands of its talented youth.

“The nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence,” the President stated.

He also commended the students’ institutions and states of origin, noting that their triumph reflects the strength and quality of Nigeria’s education system.

“These accomplishments are a testament to the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system as a nurturer of some of the world’s brightest minds,” he added.

President Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education as a driver of national development, citing recent policy measures, including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), designed to eliminate financial barriers for indigent students pursuing higher education.

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was named overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya emerged as overall best in debate, while Hadiza won the gold medal in the outstanding talent category.
