President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, the Sardauna of Adamawa and former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
The President described the late elder statesman as a dedicated leader who made significant contributions to the growth and development of the Nigeria Customs Service, as well as to the progress of Adamawa State.
“He will be sorely missed by all,” President Tinubu stated.
In a statement issued by his Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, the President extended his condolences to the Adamawa Emirate Council, as well as the government and people of Adamawa State.
“I pray to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the late Alhaji Mustapha Aljanna Firdaus,” President Tinubu said.
Mustapha died on Thursday in Abuja at the age of 76.
