President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered security authorities to undertake efforts to free the remaining female students of the Federal University Gusau, Zamfara State, who were recently kidnapped by terrorists.

The President gave the directive in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale.

Expressing strong disapproval of the despicable act of abduction, the President maintains that there is no ethical reasoning that can justify such atrocious acts against innocent victims whose only offence was their pursuit of a good education.

While the President extends his heartfelt condolences to all families directly affected by the unfortunate incident, he emphasized that his administration holds a solemn responsibility to safeguard every Nigerian citizen.

The President further said that in accordance with his dedication, he guarantees the families of the kidnapped students that every possible measure will be taken to secure their safe reunification.

Furthermore, the President pledges that the federal government is determined to ensure that educational institutions remain sanctuaries of knowledge, growth, and opportunity, and are totally free from the menacing acts of terrorists.
