President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, pay a one-day working visit to Owerri, the Imo State capital.
Ahead of the visit, security has been tightened across Owerri, with heavy deployment of personnel and security helicopters patrolling the skies. Billboards have also been mounted at strategic locations to signal the President’s arrival.
During the visit, President Tinubu will commission the popular Control Post Flyover, the Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia Federal Road, and inaugurate the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre.
He is also scheduled to attend the launch of a book titled “Ten Years of APC Good Governance in Nigeria,” authored by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State.
APC Governors and other party stalwarts are expected to join the President at the event.
