Rivers United return to the summit of the league with a 1-0 win over Adamawa United, .

Fortune Omoniwari did the job for the Pride of Rivers in the 53rd minute, condemning Adamawa United to their fifth defeat of the season which leaves them at the rock bottom of the log.

Enyimba of Aba moved second with a hard-fought lonely goal victory over Kastina United. Although level on point with Rivers United but with lower goal difference, the Aba Boys made it back-to-back victories for the first time in the season having recorded a 2-1 win in against Adamawa United in Bauchi on Monday.
