In a landmark move to promote inclusivity and deepen spiritual understanding among Muslim pilgrims, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that the 2025 Hajj Arafat Sermon will be broadcast in 34 languages.
Among the selected languages are Yoruba, Hausa, and Fulfulde, reflecting the kingdom’s commitment to engaging diverse audiences, including millions of pilgrims from Nigeria and West Africa.
The multilingual broadcast aims to ensure that pilgrims from various linguistic backgrounds can fully grasp the spiritual and moral messages of the Arafat Sermon, which is one of the most significant moments during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
By expanding the reach of the sermon beyond Arabic, Saudi authorities hope to foster a more inclusive Hajj experience and strengthen the global unity of the Muslim Ummah.
