Second batch of Kwara Pilgrims depart for Hajj 2024

A second batch of three hundred and fifteen (315) pilgrims from Kwara State, North Central Nigeria, have departed the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, for Saudi Arabia to observe the 2024 pilgrimage.

They include one hundred and sixty-eight (168) males and one hundred and forty-six (146) females, among them one official.

The Air Peace Airline APK7918, which departed the airport ten minutes past one o’clock in the afternoon, took the pilgrims to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, to commence the pilgrimage.

Three hundred and fifteen (315) pilgrims had earlier been airlifted from the state during the first batch flight.

As at the time of filling in this report, VON gathered that so far, sixteen thousand, seven hundred and ninety-four (16,794) pilgrims have been airlifted from Nigeria to the holy land with a total of forty (40) flights.
