The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, mourns the death of his Royal Majesty, Dr Shekarau Angyu Masa-Ibi, Aku Uka of Wukari.
Dr. Masa-Ibi who was also the Chairman of the Taraba State Council of Chiefs, passed away at the age of 84.
The SGF describes the late Dr. Masa-Ibi as a devout Christian who lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation, a revered monarch as well as a nation builder who contributed in no small measure to the development of his immediate community and the nation at large.
According to Mustapha, the late Aku Uka was a pillar of strength and support as well as the rallying point to the Jukun people in Taraba State and the entire Kwararafa Kingdom.
SGF expresses his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Taraba State, his immediate family, and prays to God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
