Super Falcons To Play France In International Friendly
The Super Falcons of Nigeria will take on the Les Bleues of France in an international friendly match on Saturday, 30th November 2024.
This clash will be the Falcons’ second friendly within a two-month period, following a doubleheader against Algeria at home, where they triumphed with 2-0 and 4-1 victories.
Interim coach, Justin Madugu has been overseeing Nigeria’s preparations, incorporating a mix of home-based and international players to build a cohesive squad.
This friendly aligns with Nigeria’s strategy of competitive preparation, especially aiming to improve their performance against European teams after mixed results in previous tournaments, including a memorable run to the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIFA World Cup, where they narrowly lost to England in a penalty shootout.
The Super Falcons are keen to leverage this friendly as a platform to build momentum and test their strategies against a top European team before concluding their year.
