The highly anticipated second season of the television drama series, Tales of Ramadan, is set to debut on screens across the country, its producers have announced.

The co-director, Adeniyi Omobuleijo, shared the news via his Instagram page, @theadeniyijoseph.
According to him, the new season will premiere on February 9 and air weekly for six weeks on Africa Magic, Zee World and other platforms.

He wrote: “Tales of Ramadan returns with Season 2, offering six intimate stories of love, faith and family during the holy month.
“Set in Northern Nigeria, the series delves into the complexities of human connection, friendship and belief through fresh characters and richly layered storylines.”
“Directed by Orire Nwani and Adeniyi J. Omobulejo (Irora lya), produced by Josh Olaoluwa, Goodness Emmanuel, and Hope Eniayekan under Conceptified Media, with cinematography by Timmy Davies and Tomi Folowosele returning as Head Writer.
“Premiering on February 9th, the series will air on Zee World, Africa Magic, and NTA, offering six weeks of heartfelt and thought-provoking storytelling this Ramadan.”
The Ramadan themed series explores plots of family, friendship, food, tradition, love, and personal transformation during the holy month of Ramadan.

The series was designed to celebrate tradition and the power of food in fostering connection, love, and community.
Set in Northern Nigeria, the series follows the lives of different families and individuals, as they observe Ramadan by showing how fasting, prayer, food and community shape their lives.
The second season is aimed at reinforcing the growing presence of culturally grounded, faith-inspired storytelling within Nigeria’s television and film space.
The first season of the series, which was co-directed by Orire Nwani and Adeniyi Omobuleijo, was premiered on March 1, 2025
Its cast include Lucy Ameh, Sani Muazu, Saeed Mohammed (Funky Mallam), amongst others.
