UNGA 77: President Buhari Returns to Abuja

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja after attending the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The President, who touched down in the early hours of Monday, was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport by Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello.

While delivering his country’s national statement at the summit, the Nigerian Leader assured the world of a transparent election next year.

He also held various bilateral meetings with his counterparts from across the world, where he gave assurance that the security challenges confronting the nation will soon be a thing of the past.

Furthermore, he called on African leaders to get rid of corruption
