Voice of Nigeria’s DG Amplifies supports to education

The Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, has reiterated the agency’s unwavering commitment to promoting educational activities in Nigeria.
The Director General stated this during a visit by  students of Command Science and Technical School Akwanga, Nasarawa State, who were on an educational excursion to the headquarters of Voice Of Nigeria.
In the company of the  Director of News Austeen Elewedalu and Hauwa Ajeje of the Programs Directorate, Baba Ndace stated this while he was warmly receiving the students in his office.
He assured the students that Voice of Nigeria actively fosters the educational sector, particularly within the Nigerian Army and other military activities, both at home and on the international stage.
In his role as DG, Baba Ndace took the time to provide a comprehensive overview of Voice of Nigeria’s activities, emphasizing its position as the international arm of Nigeria’s broadcasting.
He encouraged the visiting students to consider a career in broadcasting, seeing the organization as a gateway to exciting opportunities in the field.
The Commandant of the Command Science and Technical Secondary School Anwanga, Lt Col Zando Danjuma, congratulated the DG on his appointment.
He hailed Baba Ndace as an outstanding journalist, who has cut his teeth in investigative and security reportage.
Lt Col Danjuma further stated that, “the students’ were on excursion to Voice of Nigeria to get a first hand experience on broadcasting and how the Agency perform its responsibilities both locally and internationally.”
“We have even established a Press Corps association for students interested in broadcasting, and we’ve partnered with an FM station in Nasarawa State where our students produce a weekly program, providing them valuable exposure to media practice.”

 The commandant in appreciation, presented a plague to the DG of Voice Of Nigeria, as a token of appreciation for hosting the students and contributing to their educational journey.
