Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has extended his congratulations to two Nigerian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for their remarkable accomplishments at the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony. The event took place during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), celebrating innovation and sustainability on a global scale.
The President on his verified X handle, @officialABAT, on Tuesday evening, lauded Nafarm Foods and D-Olivette Global Enterprise for making Nigeria proud on the global stage.

Nafarm Foods, represented by AbdulLateef Olaosebikan, won the Zayed Sustainability Prize in the Food Category for their innovative hybrid solar food dryers, which help preserve food and reduce CO2 emissions.
The innovation has now been recognised for its scalability and potential to revolutionise food preservation across Africa.
D-Olivette Global Enterprise, another Nigerian SME, emerged as a finalist in the Energy category.
Their groundbreaking IoT and AI-assisted waste management solution improves collection efficiency by 40%, earning them global recognition at the event.
President Tinubu, who joined the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other world leaders at the opening of ADSW, emphasised the significance of such achievements in showcasing Nigeria’s ingenuity and commitment to sustainability.
