The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle of the State Executive Council with six Commissioners swapping positions.
A statement by the government says the redeployment is intended to create a new vigour for service delivery, which has been the hallmark of the Fintiri-led Administration.
The statement said the redeployment and postings would take immediate effect.
It said the reshuffle would now take the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Sanusi Farouk Jauro to the Ministry of Special Duties, while Mallam Mohammed Umar from the Ministry of Local Government Affairs will move to the Ministry of Land and Survey and Mr Ibrahim Mijinyawa will move to the Ministry of Local Government Affairs.
Mr Alloysious Babadoke, from the Ministry of Special Duties, will now move to the Ministry Youth and Sports Development, while Mallam Umar Daware from the Ministry of Tertiary and Professional Education will take over the Ministry of Agriculture and Dr Dishi Khobe will take over the Ministry of Tertiary and Professional Education as Commissioner
While wishing them well in their new Ministries, Governor Fintiri directed them to hand over and move to their new postings without delay.
