APC Women flag off Presidential Campaign in Kwara State

Wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari, says she has set a platform for the voices of women to be heard across the country, as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women flag off a presidential Campaign in Kwara State, North-Central Nigeria.

Aisha Buhari stated this at the the Flag-off which was held at the Metropolitan Square, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
She expressed the optimism about women and youths’ ability to deliver in the forthcoming general elections.
While highlighting the achievements of the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari, the First Lady said the APC is a party of peace and  progress and, therefore, urged Nigerian women to carry the campaign with seriousness and commitment.

In his opening remarks, the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdurazaq, who appreciated the choice of the state for the flag-off, described the party’s Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, as the right network to take the country to greater heights, given his achievements in Lagos state, where he was a one-time governor.
Abdulrazak assured that he would continue to champion the course of women in the governance of the state.
The governor declared that there is no vacancy for any other party in the state as the state is for Ahmed Tinubu.
While highlighting the achievements of his administration in the state, he urged people  not to relent in their belief in the party.
Also, the First Lady of Kwara State, Ambassador Olufolake Abdulrazaq, was optimistic that women and youths would vote for the party in the state, considering the track records of the President’s administration.
Wife of the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, said the choice of Kwara as a flag-off point was divinely chosen.
She assured of more dividends of democracy under the APC leadership, promising to bring solution to the issue of unemployment of youths in the state and also turn around the fortune of the people of the state for good, as the state is indeed blessed.
The State APC Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, said the governor has adopted an all inclusive government and brought back the glory of the state.
He commended the wife of  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for choosing Kwara state for the flag-off campaign and assured that the state would give Tinubu and Shettima one hundred percent support.
Fagbemi commended the governor for what he has done for women and youths in the state.
The APC Youth leader, Duduyemi Suleiman, assured the governor of the youths’ support just as they did at the Primary.
The National Women leader, Dr. Beta Edu, expressed optimism about receiving 40 million votes from women during the presidential election and urged women not to be distracted from their set goals.
